What are you currently reading?

The woman in the window by A.J. Finn

This follows Anna who suffers with Agoraphobia and hasn’t left her house in 10 months, she spends her days drinking wine, watching old films and spying on her new neighbours who just moved in across the street. All is fine until she sees something she isnt supposed to and nobody believes her truth. I’m currently on page 289 and I’m absolutely loving this. I have a few theories about what really happened but I have a feeling most of them are red herrings, seriously what is real? I don’t even know anymore. I can’t wait to finish this I might even try to finish tonight I just need to know what happens. Also shout out to my cute bookmark from the Van Gogh museum. 💛

Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children by Ransom Riggs

I’m sure most of you will know what this story is about already but if not, Jacob has heard many stries from his grandfather over the years who claimed to have attended a mysterious orphanage off the coats of Wales and has the pictures to prove it but Jacob doesn’t believe him. That is until he takes a trip there himself. I listened to this via audiobook as well as following along with the text so I could see the photography included throughout the book, these photos were one of my favourite parts of the story as it really added something special to the story and i even found some of them to be a little bit creepy. I’m not sure if I will continue on with the series I’m quite happy with how it ended and might just watch the films in future. Is it worth carrying on?

What will you read next?

Noughts and crosses by Malorie Blackman

I honestly don’t really know anything about this book but I was given it by a friend and would like to get to it sooner rather than later. I have read a book by this author before when I was in primary school and remember enjoying it so I’m hoping I like this one too.

I’m going to aim to keep up with this every week, let me know your answers to these questions. Thanks for reading x
